Corporate History

April 1958 The Company=Wakabayashi Manufacturing Started up.
May 1964 The Omi Plant constructed in Honmachi, Omi-mura, Higashichikumagun, Nagano.
Nov.   Waka Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established.
April 1973 The Matsumoto Plant constructed in Akashina-cho,Higashichikuma-gun, Nagano.
Dec. 1981 The Head Office built in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
Oct. 1982 The paid in capital increased to 23,000,000 yen.
April 1987 Korea Waka Co., Ltd. established in the Masan free Export Zone in Korea with capital of 50,000,000 yen (100% investment).
April 1990 The New Matsumoto Plant built in the Akashina Industrial Zone, Higashichikuma-gun, Nagano.
May 1995 Korea Waka Co., Ltd. obtained ISO9002 certification.
Oct.   The renovation our Omi Plant.
Sept. 1996 The start of mass-production of milli-meter wave coaxial connectors; V-band and K-band.
Mar. 1998 The Head office relocated to Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
Feb. 1999 Korea Waka Co., Ltd. obtained ISO9001 certification.
June   Waka Manufacturing Co., Ltd. obtained ISO9001 certification.
April 2000 The start of mass-production of milli-meter wave coaxial connectors; 1 milli-meter W-band.
June   Korea Waka changed its name for Celltech.
Oct. 2001 The Head office & Matsumoto Plant obtained ISO 14001.
Aug. 2003 The Omi Plant obtained ISO9001.
Dec. 2005 The Omi Plant obtained ISO14001.
Oct. 2011 Yoshinosuke Wakabayashi appointed as C.E.O.
